Trompe L’oeil

Molto tempo è passato dall'ultima volta che ho preso in mano i pennelli e devo dire che mi mancava molto la pittura.Avevo una tavola di legno che era rimasta della libreria e così ho deciso dipingere dei finti cassetti. Adoro questo tono di blue! Per la scritta ho fatto uno stencil e per i pezzettini di carta che si intravedono ho incollato della carta con delle scritte.
A proposito della scritta l’ispirazione mi è venuta dal blog di una cara amica blogger, quello di Fede. Se volete, potete leggere un post che ho scritto sul suo blog.

Much time has passed since the last time I picked up my paint brushes and I must say that I really missed painting. I had a board that was left of the library  so I decided to paint faux drawers on it. I love this tone of blue! For the writing I did a stencil and I glued some pieces of paper in the corners.
I got inspiration for the front title of the drawers from a dear blogger friend: Federica. If you want, you can read a post I wrote on her blog during Federica's vacation.
