Vintage pillow delights

E’ incredibile quante cose si possano fare con la nostra stampante di casa. Ho stampato due immagini vintage su carta speciale per poi trasferire il disegno sulla stoffa di due fodere di 30x40 cm. per bambini.

Bastano cinque minuti per avere due cuscini nuovi bellissimi.

Ho preso le immagini in questo fantastico sito, The Graphics Fairy, immagini free.

Un progetto molto facile da fare e di grande effetto.

Is amazing how many things you can do with our home printer. I printed two vintage images on special paper and then transferring the design on the fabric.

It takes five minutes to have two beautiful new pillows.

I took the clipart of this fantastic site, The Graphics Fairy.

This project is easy to do and very effective.

La luce di Siviglia è particolare e bellissima. I colori si vedono in tutto il loro splendore. Solo così si può capire perché grandi pittori come Murillo e Velasquez trovarono la loro ispirazione sulle strade di questa affascinante città.

Seville's light is so special and beautiful. Colors appears in all their splendor. Now I can understand why the great painters such as Velasquez and Murillo got their inspiration on the streets of this enchanting city.

Viaggiare è uno dei piaceri più grandi al mondo. Conoscere luoghi e culture diverse è sempre molto interessante. La settimana scorsa siamo andati a Siviglia capitale della Andalucia. Città bella, clima mite e gente accogliente. Alcune fotografie.

Betsy Clark era la mia bambola preferita da piccola. Credo di aver scoperto la mia passione per il disegno copiando la sua faccina in tutti i miei quaderni di scuola.

A dicembre, cercando su Ebay, ho trovato un’asta in cui si vendeva nella sua scatolina originale: ho fatto un’offerta, ho vinto. Si è fatta aspettare un po’, però adesso è qui con noi.

In December, looking on Ebay, I found an auction where it sold in its original box: I made a bid, I won. Love Hallmark characters.

Dopo aver fatto i miei scaldamani, mi era rimasto un po’ di pile bianco, così ho pensato di cucire un cuscino a forma di rosa.L’ho fatto usando la stessa tecnica di questo tutorial, però tagliando le foglie in maniera diversa.

After my wrist warmers project, I was left a little piece of white fabric, so I decided to sew a rose pillow.I made it using the same technique of this tutorial, however, cutting the leaves differently.
